Chapter Two examines how to measure the “Intuitionist” theory, an important force in organizing in American politics. Intuitionism‘s broad continuum of cognitive and emotional tendencies is introduced on a scale ranging from Intuitionist to Rationalist. This scale is then used to survey the American populace on a variety of topics.
