The Myth of Unoriginality
The Myth of Unoriginality
This chapter focuses on one of the fundamental notions central to copyright—originality—which has been the subject of prolonged skepticism in a number of arenas. Keywords: originality, death of the author, genius, sweat-of-the-brow, merger doctrine
