This volume is a collection of papers that were presented at the 17th East Asian Seminar in Economics on June 22–24, 2006. The conference was organized around three inter-related research interests: global imbalances, monetary and exchange rate policy, and the liberalization of capital accounts. This introductory chapter presents an overview of these contributions.
Chicago Scholarship Online requires a subscription or purchase to access the full text of books within the service. Public users can however freely search the site and view the abstracts and keywords for each book and chapter.
