The confluence of racial and religious politics in the 1960s and 1970s lead a lot of Christian conservatives not only to identify themselves as conservative but to identify as Republicans as well. As conservatism and Intuitionism have become more closely aligned, America has become even more polarized. This chapter examines why Intuitionism thrives in contemporary America, how the Information age has influenced the shift in American public opinions, and how education and religion continually play a major role.
