This chapter examines the coverage of Albert Einstein's relativity theory in science magazines. It explains that editors and expositors used different strategies in their attempt to rescue science from media sensation. It compares the articles on relativity published in Conquest: The Magazine of Popular Science and Discovery: A Monthly Journal of Popular Knowledge. This chapter also evaluates the handling of Einstein's theory in three very different publications.
